Using Tapping to calm yourself and focus forward

Welcome to our blog post where we introduce the powerful benefits of Tapping also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Tapping can help you find relief from stress, anxiety, and emotional blockages. By targeting specific meridian points on your body and combining it with positive affirmations, you can create a profound shift in your energy and well-being.

This powerful tool is backed by medical research and can be used daily to regulate stress levels in challenging situations, as well as enhance the immune system.

By tapping on specific meridian points, you are sending a calming signal to your brain and allowing your body to move out of fight-or-flight mode.

This simple technique acts as a reminder to your brain that there is no imminent danger, helping you shift back into balance.

The basic Tapping sequence involves taking a deep breath, identifying a problem, and rating the intensity of your feelings on a scale from 0 to 10. Then, using a setup statement to acknowledge and accept the problem, you can tap on the meridian points while repeating the statement. Afterward, take another deep breath and re-evaluate the intensity of your feelings. Repeat this sequence until the feeling is greatly diminished or gone, adjusting the statement as needed.

Tapping should be firm yet gentle, and you can alternate hand and body side. With practice, you can even go through the sequence mentally as a form of meditation and experience the same benefits. And in public, a subtle tap on the initial karate chop point can serve as a mental reminder to stay focused.
